The word "LOVE" sounds simple but it is the transforming wheel responsible for the transformation of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10).

"How could he dine with a sinner? How could he? With all his glory, so he could stoop so low and come under the roof of a cheat." The crowd must have thought. The disciples were equally amazed. This is just the same way there have been questions arising about the LOVE OF GOD over your life.

"No! It can't be. God can't love her. She stinks with sin. I can't believe this. He doesn't even attend church like I do."
And you even ask yourself - "Why me?"

Well, I have an answer.

Love is unquestionable, because God is unquestionable.
Love is indescribable because He is indescribable.
Love is supreme because God is supreme.
Love is infallible because God is infallible.

Brethren, the simple truth is that God is Love and Love is God (1 John 4:8, KJV)

Tonight, I have come according to His will to reveal to you that "LOVE"
  • The love that turns a bastard to a son as in the case of Ruth.
  • The love that makes the last, the first.
  • The love that makes the rejected, the accepted.
  • The love that makes the illegal, legal.

Somebody say; "I am Loved Beyond Fault!"

We would be looking at two powerful outlines:
  • Love in two folds.
  • What is your Barrier?


LOVE AS A PERSON

"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16, KJV)

It is expedient to know that love is not just what we feel, nor is it just an experience, neither is it abstract. Love is a Person, the Person of God.

 It was first a Person, before it becomes an experience.

The love of God is not just an instrument of attachment, nor what God is trying to do. It is a Force.

  • A force of transformation (Ask Bro Peter).
  • A force of healing. (The woman with the issue of blood experienced this).
  • A force of revival (What of Lazarus?)


Love as a person describes the Nature of God. It describe what God is that we are. He loves, not because He wish to do it or like to do it. But because that is who He is and He can't do otherwise.
God is not just a loving God, He is love personified. You can't change His nature nor does your action does.


I could recollect an experience of mine. There has been this lady God gave me, and I've been seeking His will for her life, and aligning her prayerfully and through series of teachings to the mind of God. She would get it today, and next tomorrow she acts otherwise, and this continued for a while. You know the kind of frustration you can experience through that. But I kept looking at God and starring at the big picture God showed me concerning her. I looked away from her actions and kept staring at the nature of God laying potent in her. Sincerely, I almost gave it up. I told God I was tired and I would stay off because she was the exact opposite of who she truly is and not implementing what she was learning. Then, God spoke to my heart. He said, "I have not given up on her yet. Then, who are you to do that". I went off.
What kind of God is this? Well, He is beyond my understanding. I submit.



LOVE AS AN ACTION

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16, KJV).

Note that HE GAVE. This is the action of love. Glory!!!

In the Old, we saw the dealings of God with our ancestors. How He rained down manna even to the disobedient and nagging children of Isreal (Exodus 16:16). How He was their physician (Exodus 15:26). All we could see was that, "God did". Yeah He did.
The dealings discussed above were all actions of Love. Why? Because of the Person of Love. And all these took under the shadow.

Now, let's reason together. If those under the shadow experienced and received the promises of God. How much more you, who is born of God?

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12, KJV)

You are a Son of God because you are born of God.

When Jesus came, He said that the law and prophets is hung on the Love commandment (See Matthew 22:37-40). And He came to fulfill all the laws and prophets(See Matthew 5:17)

His death which is the fulfillment of all the Laws and Prophets, manifested Love

Brethren, there is something behind the action of love. There is something that drives the action of love. It is the person of Love.

"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9, KJV)

From the verse above, it was first the Person of Love, that is the Person of Christ that made possible what we now we enjoy (His riches), which is the action of love through self denial and sacrifice.

 "For the love of Christ constraineth us" (2 Corinthians 5:14a, KJV)

The word "constrain" is a verb - an action word. Then, "love as an action" would have produced that. (The action "constrain"). But we can't stop there because Apostle Paul saw beyond that. He knew Something before he could say that. What is that? It is the Person of Love.

He has come into a relationship, a cementation and a fellowship with the Person of Love and this in turn influenced his actions of love.

No matter how nice and kind an unbeliever may appear, don't be deceived, it is just a moral exercise because he doesn't know the Person of Love.



WHAT IS YOUR BARRIER?

The same way grace appeared to all humanity, is just the same way love had appeared to all (See Titus 2:11). Because the ministry of grace was hinged on WORKINGS OF LOVE. But not all received Grace, not all received Love.

The greatest problem of humanity is that, they are trying to do things with their own strength. They want to love by their own strength. Give by their own strength.

God says to such person today, "Cease from your works of Love and come into LOVE REST" (See Hebrews 4:11). "Because it is never by might nor by power but by my Spirit, says the Lord." (See Zechariah 4:6).

The same way you'd received the Holy Spirit is the same way you'd received love because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Love. And the Voice of Love says to you today:
"There's no shadow I won't light up,
Mountains I won't bring down coming after you"

Why? Because you are loved beyond fault!

Your greatest responsibility as a son of Love is to come into the great love divinity has perfected through the Blood of Jesus because you can't manifest what you have not come into.

Well, there can be barriers that might want to obstruct you, but you have to take your stand. It might be your past and present worries, fear of the future, pains, failures, disappointment etc.
But you have to say, "No! I'm not gonna give it up. I'm not gonna allow it. My past won't dictate my present and my future. I just have to behold the Love of God. I just have to stay Close. I'm gonna give it all it takes. Because I am more than a conqueror through Him that loved me and gave Himself for me. Because Christ is the reason for my victory. Because Christ is the reason for my season. Christ is my all. Christ, the end to my Crisis. GLORY!"

Ruth under the shadow, had every reason to say no to the love of her heart even after suffering from an emotional stress.
"Since he is dead, let me go my way", She might have thought. But she stayed. She gave it all it takes. And that decision changed the course of her life for life.

Mary Magdalene went to the tomb of Jesus the very first day of the week, very early on the morning. She was surprised at what she saw and went to call some of the disciples. They came there with her and while there was no record of others, it was recorded of her that she stayed and wept. Weeping profusely.
"Where is my Lord? Where is my Love? I can't leave without Him. I can't live without Him. Where is my risen Love?"
I thought after the endless search, she should go and resign to fate. But No! She was not going to accept that FATE. Instead, she made her FAITH so strong and waited and stayed.
I heard her say, "I must see my Love. I must behold Him. I am not going to be crippled by my fears, worries and disappointments. I am not..."
Her persistency touched Christ and He appeared. Her Love appeared to Her and she witnessed Him.

Brethren, it is enough to come into His Love and stay there.

People of God, this is LOVE SHINES and our character is Love.

"...because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." (Romans 5:5b, KJV).

If the love of God is not SHED abroad in our hearts, it can't SHINE through us. We need know how that happens. It happens by the Holy Ghost.

The more I press in the Holy Ghost, the more I am consumed in the nature of LOVE AS A PERSON and the more I exhibit LOVE AS AN ACTION.

I pray that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened to KNOW LOVE, to SEE LOVE and to EXPERIENCE LOVE (See Ephesians 1:18).

Conclusively, in the case of Lazarus, everyone saw love as an action but the revival was only possible because of the Person of Love - The Person of Resurrection (See John 11:34-44).

Over your unstable finances, you need to come into His Love, because the revival and the surge you need financially, is THE LOVE YOU NEED.
Over that addiction, come into the Love and let His love melt it away. Just run to Him.
"I don't want to do it by myself. Lord, I am tired of myself. Take over. Take over. This is my heart cry Lord."

The coming into His love is in the knowledge of knowing how much He loves you

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8, KJV).

He had loved us before the foundation of the world. He had loved us even when there is nothing meaningful about us. He has always loved even in our wretched state. What a love so true!

While interceding for everyone, I saw an ocean of love (big one) and some people were in it. There might have been these questions in our hearts, "How do I come into the love of God?". We come into the love of God (ocean of love) by soaking ourselves in the love messages He has written to us. The Word of God is the series of love letters written to us, about us and for us. If we don't read, study and meditate on it, how do we discover His Love?

I could sense someone battling with financial instability. This is a word for you.

"...yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity  of his servant." (Psalms 35:27b, KJV).

You need to come into His love and swim in it over your finances. Not until you swim in it, you won't be soaked in it. Not until you are soaked in it, His will for your life and finances would not be revealed to you. And when his will is revealed, there would be a shift, even financially.

Be soaked in this Love. It is all you need.
